Next time you head out to the grocery store have a plan. Go to the grocery store with a shopping list. This will help you be better organized to purchase only those foods that you need to stick with your eating plan. A prepared list will help prevent you from impulsively throwing extra foods in your cart that are not on the list and full of unnecessary calories.

- Meats: Extra Lean Ground Sirloin, skinless and boneless chicken breasts, Wild Salmon, and egg whites.
- Fruits: Apples, Tangerines, Red Grapes, Pineapple, Strawberries, and Blue berries.
- Vegetables: Spinach and lots of it, Red and Green Peppers, Tomatoes, baby carrots, and broccoli.
- Snacks and Cooking Essentials: Olive oil, walnuts, flax seed, yogurt, oatmeal, peanut butter, green tea, balsamic vinegar, brown rice, and low fat healthy snacks.
I really recommend limiting the amount of milk, soy, pork, boxed foods, processed foods, and shell fish.
