Without Motivation you're going to go no where real quick with your workouts, so I thought I would write a motivation blog series to help you get a better grip on your training. #1 of this series will talk about self analysis and making goals. I know for some, a way of inspiration is their men fitness magazines, their flex, shape, sports illustrated ect.
Is there anything wrong with this...No. Nevertheless, you need to spend the majority of time with your eyes on " You" . The truth is most people won't be able to get a body like Heidi Klum or Brad Pitt, and if you over-examine this, it could very well lead you in a slump. Most people tend to focus on their whats wrong with them, while at the same time obsessing over the strengths of others. That's a surefire way to stay eternally frustrated.
A much healthier approach is to acknowledge your own strengths, and use them as benchmarks , by which to bring up your weaknesses. Learn to give yourself credit for the improvement that you've made. You know it wasn't easy to lose those 5 lbs or to fit into that size 12 dress, but you did it, and you deserve to give yourself a pat on the back. Remember keep your eyes on YOU, don't let the achievements of others dictate your obsessions. -
